One of the most exciting things cooking on the Organic Connections board table this year is culture. Not the kind that grows on leftover food at the back of the fridge – but the kind that reminds us why we do what we do and adds a little fun at the end of a day.
“The quilt square was designed by Carol Weiler of Rural Saskatoon for Organic Connections and was unveiled as a part of a special quilt at the 9th Prairie Conservation and Endangered Species Conference in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the Opening Reception on Thursday, February 25.
Organic Connections will be launching its own special Conference Quilt in 2010 and encourages any organization, business or individuals who are interested in this project to get involved.
Special blocks can be made by skilled and talented quilters on your behalf* or if you have the talent to produce your own then we would be pleased to share colour and material samples with you.
*A sponsorship fee will cover the production costs of your specialized square.
